saw an article pointing out that LSU has won 4 championships in the 3 major sports. i was thinking about how this compares to other schools what i came up with-- Florida-4. 2 fb, 2 basketball Tx-3 (maybe 4?--would it count?). 1 fb, 2 baseball. Miami-2. 1 baseball, 1 fball. there are also others that have won two in one sport. did i miss anything?
Damn few schools have put teams in the BCS championship game, the Final Four, and the College World Series in a three year period.
I'm pretty sure Fl hasn't been to the CWS this decade. And when did TX make a Final Four? I don't think OU has done all 3 in a 3 year period either.
FL in the championship game in 05. tx in ff in 03. OU was in BCS CG and ff early in decade, but, yes, i think they havent been to CWS in a long time.
