Good luck, hopefully the Green will make a show of it and kick a field goal. I recommend my favorite, Superior Grill on Government Street :hihi:
Welcome to the forum man! Baton Rouge is a special place, and if you make the trip, I hope you enjoy yourself! So tell me: What is UNT like... I know they got 2 great RBs, but what is their defensive scheme? etc... give us some details about them
All i know is they shouldn't score a TD.....they have scored 7 TD's in 6 games this season against poor competition. MTSU W 14-7 Tulsa L 54-2 Kansas State L 54-7 Troy L 13-10 Florida Intl W 13-10 La Tech L 40-14 *** oh yeah.....WELCOME TO THE BOARD RUDY!! :hihi: :hihi:
Welcome to the board Rudy. Stick around and if you make the trip, let us know what you think! You'll have the time of your life, though as others have noted, lodging could be tough. Just find the nicest RV, be nice to 'em, and they'll probably put you up for the night (and feed you til you explode.)
Welcome Rudy, I'm in Fort Worth and work at Lockheed Martin and know several UNT alums. Hopefully you make it down to the game. I was really hoping for UNT to be better than they have been. The running game was fun to watch last year and I was hoping you guys had a better season. Maybe things can get turned around in the 2nd half of the season as long as it isn't at the expense of LSU.:hihi: You shouldn't catch much heat from Tiger fans at the game because there is not rivalry between the game. Well you may run across some "Sabanfans" out there. When I go home to Baton Rouge from Fort Worth. I will go I-30 to 80 and to I-20 at Terrell. However that is only at none rush hour times since that puts you going through downtown Dallas. At more busier times of the day, I go 820 loop (East side) down to I-20 and go to Shreveport and then I-49 to 190 to Baton Rouge. Don't go down to Houston. Bad mistake. Go I-20 to I-49. The only way to go for you. Good eats: If you want Cajun food such as Boudine, ask somebody where Jerry Lee's is on Greenwell springs road. Go get you about 5 lbs of that and some crackers. I haven't eaten much seafood or cajun food in awhile in Baton Rouge because when I visit the family usually cooks, so I am rusty on what is good in Baton Rouge these days.
