At Stanford, hopefully on his way to LSU! ;)

He's got a ton of NFL experience

:geaux: Read where he was the assoc. head coach, got interviewed for the HC job at Stanford but the OC David Shaw got the job. Was he an OC in the NFL? :LSU231:

    Greg Roman bio

He may follow Harbaugh to SF. Has never been an OC.

I heard his name mentioned as a possibility.

:geaux: Just curious, but if he's never been an OC why would he be a good candidate for the OC at LSU? :LSU231:

what about Josh McDaniels or Tom Cable?

Tom Cable was able to put up with Al Davis, he could definitely deal with LSU fans. His offense ran pretty damned well this season. And I don't know if anyone has noticed this or maybe it's just me, but doesn't he look like Stud's twin?

Josh McDaniels, not a head coach, but still a fine offensive coordinator. He made Matt Cassel and Kyle Orton look like Dan Marino....

Just throwing names out, I don't know if I would really want either of these 2 guys as my first choice, but I don't think I would mind if we ended up with an NFL guy.

Some would say LSU has never had an OC. They bitched about Jimbo and now Crowton.
