LSU just released that David Grewe has resigned. Who will be next? It'll be interesting to see who Mainieri retains both coaching and player wise.
really? this is a bit of an overreaction. this coaching business is a bitch. dont let your babies grow up to be ncaa coaches.
Its been well known, behind closed doors that is, that Grewe was gone at the end of the season no matter what. He did some really bad things in the recruiting arena last year that sealed his fate. Not NCAA violations bad but not good for LSU's reputation.

The story I heard was when some of the players signed professional contracts for less than what they told LSU they would sign for, he proceeded to belittle them over the phone, through text messaging etc. The family of one of the kids he did this to reported it to LSU and that was the beginning of the end for Grewe.
fair enough. Sorry, david. You cant be a dick when you're a recruiter before it eventually bites you in the ass. he'll end up somewhere good I assume.
