This is an awesome groom cake. I remember mine. It was a chocolate cake with strawberries on top. Tasted like heaven, but I would trade it for this one! What you think something like that costs?
I got married in December 2003 and I got a $700 quote for it. We opted for a LSU themed cake because 700 was a bit much. It was chocolate and it ruled. I decorated the grooms cake table with old ticket stubs (like they have under the tables at Ivars) and any LSU memorabelia I could find. We also walked out (when they introduce you at the reception) to Pre Game Song. I've never seen everyone at a reception stand up and cheer so loud- I'll pretend it's because they were happy for us, but I know the truth. One week later we won :crystal:
to hell with it being a grooms cake, that should be the wedding cake! but i wouldn't be able to cut it either.

Slightly more elaborate than my groom's cake........... But hey, it was purple and gold and had LSU Tigers on it so that's all that mattered.
