Man, this douchebag is full of himself. As if it's his right to know everything going on inside the LSU football program at all times.

He feels that he needs to put LSU at #1, so he searched for something else to bitch about.... :dis:

Sounds like pure bitterness to me. I don't see any single point in that article I'd label as a good one. Just the rantings of someone who is p.o.'ed because he's being kept in the dark.

Didn't most of us agree that the federal laws about medical information is probably a large part of this? The student athletes aren't open to litigation, like Miles would be, I'd imagine?

If I was Miles' attorney, I'd tell him that Early can tell whomever he likes, and that his friends and family can tell whomever they'd like, but that he should keep his mouth shut. Those guys aren't co-workers with his caregivers. He is. If he talks about injuries, he'd open himself up to being sued. Of course, there is little if any chance that Early Doucet would ever sue Les Miles, but technically the possibility is there. Plus, it's generally a good idea to obey federal laws.

I think most coaches didn't like to disclose injuries long before HIPAA. Now they have a real excuse not to do so, as players have to give their consent to disclose the injury.

I think he is just annoyed at not being given the information that he was seeking. It is non of his business to tell Miles what to do; he is no head coach.

I agree with keeping things in the dark away from the "enemies"
