  4. England has severely restricted gun sales and ownership for years and years. I don’t know the specific laws but even buying and storing sporting gun is very limited.
    What you see here is evidence of the saying when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.

  9. It was after the '96 Dunblane school shooting, so it was in '97 that they introduced the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1997 which banned firearms in the UK (not a complete ban, but almost). Since then, the UK has had about 4 mass shootings.

    The shootings listed above are just this year.
  10. Gun ownership in the UK is essentially restricted to the upper class. Commoners are discouraged from gun ownership through very restrictive & expensive regulation. Of course, criminals forgo the regs and get guns anyway.
