1. Chicken necks as well. Can make string as long you want mine was around 100 feet or so I put the baits closer together though bout every 18 inches
  2. When @Bengal B described his method, that did bring back a memory or two of someone describing that method. Seems a helluva lot more efficient than one string per person.
  3. We've put several strings out and use a group approach to monitoring them. Depends on the area though. In the refuge, and along road south of Pecan Island, etc. a line like jvals would put a man in the water with gators that already are too comfortable with humans and hang around those crabbing areas. Now in the Gulf, yeah.
