So do we have a chance of jumping Miami if we win against Alabama?

If we win by enough, yes, I think we do

I just dont see how a 1 loss team can jump an undefeated SEC team this late in the season. IF we beat you guys, if we dont jump them back, something is BAD wrong!

doubt it. look at the respect one loss Miami is getting right now over Bama. We will close the margin, but we will not jump them.

if you'd have beat someone as good as VT then you'd be getting respect. How many times do you have to be told? other than LSU and Auburn, your schedule has been weak. Florida and UT aren't all that anymore. Sure it helps but not like a win agaisnt #2 and they were undefeated. right or wrong I see the logic.

Good news is that Miami IMO will lose again this season...

Their offense is just too inconsitent... They will fall behind against someone and falter...

Now we just need Texas or USC to crumble

I agree with your logic. However, Miami pummeled VT on VT's home field. The Hokies were never in it. I know Bama is undefeated -- but you have to admit the last 3 wins were not impressive against at least two vastly inferior teams (Ole Miss and MSU).

Been saying all year that the Hokies have been overrated. Bama's schedule is weak? ALL VT has played is Miami. I said that Vick couldn't handle a big fast D and I was right. How many times do you have to be told?

Hmmm....dude's getting a little cocky here. Look at VT's opponents, and look how many points they put up on the board. Maybe their schedule wasn't A+, but they beat the teams they should've, and they beat them how they should've. Miami was just better, and IS better than Bama. They tought VT a few lessons last night, and though I hate them, Miami deserves to be where they are.
