We will see what gives when the Rose Bowl is over. That is the only PAC-10 game that matters. Even Kentucky looks strong sometimes!!

What we are watching is two pathetic teams in action. Texas has rolled over and died in the second half. If Washington State can make their QBs look that bad just imagine what LSU would be doing to them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Virginia Tech, Cal's opponent, finish the season 1-5 with its only win coming to Temple in overtime?

Good thing VT's not coming to Death Valley. That loss last year still makes a bad dream every now&then. Doesn't Hokie mean pussy in German?

Virginia Tech had a hard time stopping people with their defense late in the season.

Agreed. Wash St lost to Notre Dame, Notre Dame hung half a hundred on Stanford. Notre Dame is foul...

    Va Tech is miserable.
    Cal beat USC...

UT pooped the bed, they did not want to be there and were poorly coached....... Wash St. did not win. UT lost.

I don't think Cal. looked good, they gave up what 49-52 points? I will say they out scored a horrible looking VT team, that has no clue how to play defense.
Wash St. looked pretty good last night, well on defense they did.
Thats what I call putting pressure on a QB, Texas had no answer.
With that said Texas had their chances, 3 times inside the 15 and
    only score 6 points!!!!!

It only means the Big East and Big-12 are weaker than we thought. ;)

That's true...however, the Pac-10 is better than many thought. We'll see about the SEC and Big-10 as they get into their games.

The main hope I have of Michigan beating USC is their balance and toughness in the trenches. I don't believe their D will stop USC.
