Who was the last Heisman winning quarterback to actually be good in the NFL? Carson Palmer may be good, but that is yet to be seen.

Depends on your definition of good, but I would say probably either Vinny Testaverde ('86) or Doug Flutie ('84).

Chris Weinke, Danny Wuerffel, Ty Detmer, Vinny Testaverde, Doug Flutie, and Roger Staubach.

Okay, I'll go with Testeverde. I think Jason White will probably end up on the list with Andre Ware, Chris Weinke, Danny Wuerffel, and Ty Detmer as quarterbacks who just didn't cut it in the NFL.

Mike -- why did your list running backs?

    The question was quarterbacks.

I'd have to agree with Vinnie T as probably the most recent "best" QB - and he wasn't all that. Let's not forget about Geno!! HA!! LOL!!!

Staubach in '63 is the last Heisman QB winner to make it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
