    Obviously someone isn't as intuitive as they believe.

    Don't play, never have. I've been good at everything I've done so I'm sure I could be if I wanted to.

    The Heisman is not usually given out fairly.
    I remember at the end of the regular season last year, a pundit pointed out that if Barkley of USC had put up 30 passing touchdowns, to only 9 interceptions, with 5 rushing touchdowns, and led his team to an undefeated season, he would have been won the Heisman easily. Those statistics were actually what Darron Thomas did last year, but he played for Oregon, not USC. Thomas was not even a finalist for the Heisman.

    Name recognition matters.

    that pundit was we todd ed. cam ran away with the heisman last year, literally.

    Ya, Newton would have won no matter what, but if a USC QB had put up the numbers Thomas had, he for sure would have been a finalist. The point the pundit, and I, am making is that what school you play for matters a LOT. It's not a level playing field.
