Same here. Didn't know the hellfires were that powerful. It probably killed the guy in the ditch too, but the layed down some .50 cal spread - just in case.
no of course not. i am wildly in favor of it. i mean, if i had to be killed, an unseen missile to the face would be about as good a way to die as i can imagine. truly instant. i dont care about torture, but even if i did i would approve of this sort of killing. crazy afgans get tied up in crazy religion and brainwashed into being killers. we have to take em out. better that our guys get to take em out nice and quick and surgical instead of our fellas on the ground having to look at them and shoot them with rifles. hopefully those pilots never give it a second thought and go home with the clearest of consciences, and the least amount of grisly imagery possible in their brains. exactly. it is better than they deserve.
