I think part of the problem is the way he says one thing openly to the press on the end, and does something completely the opposite in the end...times TWO! Not too honest, even if he's making white lies.

Exactly. When Bertman was only going to pay 1.2 mill and ALAbama is paying 4. Thats not good. We need a real Athletic Director. I like Bertman as a basball coach but is no AD.:helmet:

People, did we all forget that the LSU offer when he left was 2.5 million with $100k increase every year for 5 years to get him too 3 mil his last year. He took the Miami job because it started at 4 mil. We made him a good offer, he just went after more money and the NFL and now he failed!
