I can't figure out what the reply showed for the ACC officials to reverse the call and give Tech their Touchdown. Did anyone see that the ball actually crossed the goal line?

I don't mean to seem greedy but I could see our defense was really pumped to keep them out of the end zone. I was looking forward to that next defensive play with the ball at the 1 inch line. I loved Coach Miles reaction after they gave Tech their score, he just smiled and shook his head.

Didn't see the TD either but what you gonna do. Replays are unkind to LSU.

The only thing I can think of is the replay officials in the booth saw a replay that wasn't shown on ESPN. Every angle I saw on ESPN didn't show the ball in the end zone with 100% certainty.

Maybe so, it seemed to me he was complete covered up with no view of the ball. I thought that if they had no conclusive evidence then the call on the field must always stand.

As I said at the time, I don't see how they could reverse it because you could not see anything in that pile. Go figure.

    That supposedly is the standard.

    Ugh. :dis:
The refs sucked last night. As usual.

Yep, that call reminded me of an Auburn game type of call that goes against us.

He got turned and his butt crossed the goal line but the ball did not. The replay was far from conclusive and since the call on the filed was no TD, it should not have been overturned. He probably would have scored on fourth but I would have liked to see them earn it. Also, there's always the chance of a fumbled snap or something that would have kept them out of the end zone. It could be a blessing in disguise, though. Who needs a scoreless streak to add to all of the other sky high anxiety causing expectations that are already out there?
