What's silly is y'all tout Obama like he's something he's not.

I never said he was a socialist. It is again you having no substance in your response.

47% is a real number, however I am not an idiot and nor do I think these people don't pay any taxes or are dependent on the government.

You see, you made the assertion they voted to raise taxes when reality Is that they voted to raise other peoples taxes.

After all. The democrats have the middle class do they not?

    Obvious how?

Add to what? You have offered a vague comment. How are we "headed to a more liberal social state?" How can I offer you my opinions on the "costs" of this when I don't understand what you are trying to say? What exactly is a "liberal social state".

Another one that imagines that all democrats are on welfare. This self-delusion is part of the republican problem.

Half of those people are republicans, you know. All are working people that file 1040's. Some are wealthy people who have such loopholes that they pay no taxes. Most are retirees, students, the disabled, and people who earn too little income to owe any taxes once they use the same standard deduction that you and I take. Romney made it clear that he wasn't going to represent and support them. So they didn't vote for him. What a dumb fuck thing for him to say.

When is a real candidate going to come along? A real leader. Instead we are left with 2 yahoos that aren't much different.

You are exactly right it was a dumb thing to say. He did not say he wouldn't represent them. He was obviously pandering to the crowd he was talking to at the time. Any salesman knows to tailor his presentation to his audience.

I'm gonna go ahead and let you have the last word though. I am sick and tired of this election and hope congress and the pres figure out a constructive way to work together.

We only go by what you say. How should we take "they were voting for the guy that would raise someone else's taxes."? Most Obama supporters are employed and many are rich, they are voting to tax themselves.
