I suppose some clothing got caught on a limb maybe. That's probly near the top when it comes to the absolute worst last seconds of life.

Well, at least it ended quickly...kinda reminds me of stories where guys got sucked into jet intakes on carriers. Thats surely a sad terrible story, but I still think burning to death would be worse.

I dunno, depends on how fast and how hot. A serious burn kills the nerve endings, or so I've heard. I guess the mistake with a wood chipper would be to grab the edges and try to fight it, gruesome. And possibly, with a wood chipper, you're gonna stop part way. You'll probly only lose an arm or a leg, depending on how you go in, could take up to 2 minutes to bleed to death with a severed limb.

I cannot find the story, but a few years ago a farmer in TN was digging fence post holes and stringing barbed wire. The auger on his tractor became jammed. In the process of freeing the jam, he got tangled up in the fence wire and the turning auger - NASTY!
