    This may be the fastest defense I have ever seen at LSU. Not since Lavalais have I seen a DT in the backfield, as fast (Nevis). Mingo is a beast! Baker is back!

    Under Saban and early on under Miles the DEs were 280+. They were big enough that they often caused the oline to have to double team them. Because the oline was busy with larger DEs and DTs, the LBs were free to roam and fill. Now the DEs are down around 245-260, the DTs are down around 280. While they are faster, they don't eat up as many blocks, which allows the oline to get up to the second level and block the LBs. A power rushing team is going to have a field day agains this fast defense.
