1. Alabama wins out, Notre Dame wins out, Oregon wins out, Kansas State wins out.

Alabama plays Kansas State in the national championship game, and barely wins. Oregon plays Notre Dame in a BCS game and blows them out.

BCS splits the national championship between Oregon and Alabama?
  2. The BCS doesn't split their championship. The winner of the game is the BCS champion.
  3. It would be more likely for Georgia to beat Bama in the SECCG. And better.

  4. Louisville to the Sugar Bowl? Can't forget about that talented Big East group out of Kentucky.
  5. The Associated Press trophy can be awarded to anyone. No affiliation with BCS.

Southern California was awarded the national championship in 2003 by the Associated Press.
  6. Yes, but that wasnt the question.
  7. AP is not BCS. The Original Post was about the BCS...

LSU's hope is for UF or UGA to drop a couple. If LSU is in the top 6 they will get a BCS bowl.
  8. I understand that. Just saying that while the BCS CANNOT split the title, the AP (just as prestigious) can go to whomever they wish. The last split was in 2003.
  9. Just as prestigious? The AP is totally irrelevant.

  10. If KSU and Oregon both win out, Oregon will jump to #1 and play Bama in the Championship game.

LSU vs. Oklahoma in the Sugar bowl.
