Houston has been getting pounded for a long time. In 1976 it took me almost a whole day to drive though Houston because the streets below the I 10 high rise were flooded. It was the only time an Astros game was ever rained oyt in the Astrodome. Not because the field was wet but because the Astros players were not able to drive to the stadium.
