    I talk to Nootch everyday!

No damage to his house, his job has power but as of 6 oclock today his house did not have power.

A few days ago they told him Oct 1st before he would see power, but on his way home today he thought he might have it turned back on, I havent heard back from him if it did get turned on.

Nootch just texted me they have power now!!!!!!!

    I'm baaaaaaaack!!

    Full power, and water!!!!

Most of my family made it out quite well.
Minimal roof damage to my grandmother's house, and my sister's house.
I lost a little bit of siding, but no other damage.
Parents house has no damage at all.
My cousin's house is destroyed. Oak Tree fell slap through the middle of it.
A few other houses buildings are also totaled down here.

Place is an absolute mess (but looks a lot better now than when I 1st got back). Looks about like you would expect for taking a direct hit like we did. I have absolutely no idea how that levee behind my house held up. WEAK tropical storms have busted it in the past.

Glad to hear everyone made it out of this thing safely.
Supa, sorry about your loss man.

Where are you in LA Nutria? My parents were out for 4 days with no power, and My sister-n-laws Mother in Napoleonville still has no power....

Haven't seen one since I've been back.
But this past Sunday, a lil kid got bit on the foot by a copperhead snake.
Air-Med landed on the bayouside across the highway from my grandmother's house while we were on the roof replacing shingles.
Holy Cjit them things create an arseload of wind.

I live in Montegut (about 20 minutes south of Houma).

Most of Terrebonne Parish has power now. Chauvin got theirs back about an hour or so after I got mine back. As far as I know, other than some small pockets here and there, Houma has power fully restored.
As of 10:30 or so, Pointe-Aux-Chenes was still without power. Haven't heard anything from Cocodrie, Dulac, or Dularge yet.

Only proves you're the second best gator grabber on this board. ;)

    Glad everything is alright.

nah, I just wasn't looking for them (yet). But I dam sure started looking for snakes after that kid got bit.

appreciate that. It's great to have some semblance of normalcy again.
