After reading again I got it now, like most admin decisions they dropped the ball on this one. SEC office should have over-ruled Florida on this one and declared it moved to BR. We went to Arizona one year and that was cooperation between two different conferences, and we can't get it right in our own conference. Some of these CEO types are so politically motivated it makes them incompetent.

I remember when Bama had to play at least 6 conference games and then at times they would play another SEC team they would designate as extra to round out the schedule. If so, this bylaw hasn't been updated since we've had a conference. When the shouting is over, we probably will.

Alleva said yesterday that Orgeron had as good a chance as any candidate on getting the head job.
