1. I wonder if this is one of those situations where if some assistants are retained and others aren't, it could cause friction on the staff? Is this an all or nothing where you offer everyone a job and whomever wants to stay, stays? That way, if an assistant wants to leave, he says, "thanks, but no thanks." Seems like if you cherry pick, it could cause problems. Of course, I don't know how these transitionary things are usually handled. Any insight would be appreciated.
  2. All I know, is I agree that Miles needs SEC experienced assts. to make his transition alot smoother.
  3. I am still hoping for one more late Christmas gift here too - Muschamp.
  4. What kind of problems could it cause? If you're selected to stay, good for you. If you're not, how can that person cause problems if they're no longer here? If you were chosen to stay, but your buddy wasn't, you could quit too, but that what seem kind of foolish.
  5. I'm sure Les will do a fine job this season, what with all the talent on hand and such.

For now, though, I'm very depressed. That last second loss Sat and the Saints playing their best ball of the year and getting punked out of the playoffs on Sun was like a 1-2 punch to the gut.

Oh, wait, I have LSU men's basketball to enjoy next :dis:

When's the first game of baseball season? When's the Women's Final Four, again?
  6. Ouch, I felt the same pain.

    So now it's....
    Go Pack Go!
  7. I'm still wondering about that. The Saints beat the Rams, so why did they get in? Isn't head to head the first tie breaker?
  8. They picked and chose the tiebreaker rules to keep the Saints out.

They used the head to head rule to get the Vikings (Vikings beat the Saints) in and they used the conference record (Rams had a better conference record) to get the Rams in. Had it been reversed, the Saints beat the Rams and had a better conference record than the Vikings. They stacked it up to keep an almost unmarketable team out.
  9. Saints got hosed man....If the Eagles weren't a bunch of bitches and fielded a half way decent team on MNF against the Rams the Saints are in. It'll come back to bite the Iggles in the ass though.
  10. I knew something wasn't right. Oh well, looks like a repeat of the Packers-Pats in the SB from where I sit. Eagles are going nowhere w/o T.O., and the Falcons will get beat if you clamp down on Crumpler.
