I don't understand what the beef is here. I found it interesting as to how these writers have deadlines and are under the gun to produce some kind of story. He didn't say anything malicious towards LSU football. In fact he even refers to JR as "the most unappreciated very good QB in LSU history", which is a pretty good way of describing JR's legacy at LSU.
Yea i didn't see what was so bad, it was kind of a pointless article but i thought it was somewaht humorous anyways

Quite possibly one of his best articles ever in that he doesn't blatantly rip LSU or the Saints for being LSU or the Saints. I'm sure he makes up for it this next week. Too much sunshine gives Glenn diarrhea I understand.
When I first read the phrase "LSU is bawling now", my thought was that he wanted to use that line so badly that he came up with the column to get it in. I honestly think he was disappointed that he didn't get to use the original version.
i didnt have a problem with this article. but i did consider this sentence to be a backhanded compliment. "very good quarterback" not great? who else would he consider to be very good? loup? wickersham?
