1. Who can we get?

I think we need a statement guy with an agressive offensive style.

I think it may be a bit of a reach, but if we pay the same as ole Jimbo is gettting we could get a pretty big name from the NFL. Mike Tice maybe?
  2. I don't think Miles would bring in any body that has an agressive style. He may promote someone already on the staff.
  3. I don't think there is anyone on the staff worthy of being promoted at this point. I mean, who would our options be? Monken? He's the passing coordinator, true, but he's got nothing on his resume that would suggest he's worthy of an OC position at a major university.

    Porter?? *see Monken*

Bottom line, IMO, is that with all the critics Miles already faces now, he's got no choice BUT to hire a proven coordinator.
  4. searels?

wait, i know, how about we just hire perrilloux's HS coach?
  5. how about Norm Chow? How many top notch NFL QB did he coach back in college? I know he wants a head coaching job...but....who knows. (I'm still a little tick off that we didn't even interview him for head coach - I know it wouldn't work w/ some of the alumi here, but still...)
  6. i may be wrong but i thought he didnt want to be a head coach. anyways, could you imagine if he were our OC?...gross
  7. If Jimbo left I would be excited about having Chow.
  8. Chow is the OC for the Tennessee Titans. Unless he's unhappy I just don't see him going back to the college level for an OC position.
  9. Paul Johnson, the head coach at Navy.
Once Jamarcus leaves, could you imagine the triple option with Perrilloux or Flynn, Trindon, Alley, Keiland, and hopefully McKnight? It would be exciting to watch....

Another person that deserves serious consideration is Mike Price at UTEP, he may think that he is above the job, but it would give him a chance to get back into the SEC. Hopefully he wouldn't F-up this chance.
  10. What! I'd never considered that....talk about wicked, but they'll be effective in whatever formation they're in. :thumb:
