WVU loses, can we cheer for Notre Dame tonight?

Because I will feel like a sinner cheering for USC in anything

I don't think so... I think we quietly cheer for USC... we want as few teams as possible that are eligible for an at-large.

However, if Boise State loses we might be able to root for ND.

nevada can do it... they have given up 35 pts in its last 5 games; all wins.

I'm sorry, as much as I hate ND no way in hell I can pull for usc. If the BCS selection committee can't see fit to put LSU in a BCS bowl then screw them!!!! No way they can justify leaving the Tigers out with their schedule and record, if they do it just proves that it is nothing more than a popularity contest and the BCS is meaningless. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and do what's best for the Tigers as painful and distasteful as it might be.

IF WVU loses, yes you can pull for Notre Dame, cuz that god awful scenario I spoke of can't happen anymore (OSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, WVU, finish top 4 BCS and Boise State winning).

Well look at this sweet scenario:

    1. Ohio State
    2. Michigan
    3. Notre Dame
    4. LSU
    5. USC

Notre Dame winning tonite allows LSU to get an automatic berth, should Florida lose to Arkansas next weekend.

And LSU plays USC in the Rose Bowl, everybody's dream game.
