On a thread below this, we have a wonderful conversation with lots of name calling. What happened? A few hours ago, we had posts from all over including OTHER fans offering prayers for the safety of those along the La./Ms. coast. Now that we have been pretty fortunate and the weather is tearing up Ala., we are bitching about either the failure to postpone or the likelyhood of postponement. Don't you think there are reasonable people in Ala. who are doing the best they can to control an awful situation? There are probably things to be considered that most of us have not even thought of. No, I don't like Tubs. Not even a fan of AU, except when they play out of conference. But I am a fan of good people and there are many there too. I'll watch CLASSIC FOOTBALL Sat. if necessary. Right now, I am worried about these people. And btw, HAS Alabama cancelled that so important game they have this weekend? :champs:

Reb, any reason you gave me a neg rep on a thread about Tubby? Hidden love for that moron or something?

I understand what your saying but couldn't you say that because of this disaster and the safety of people in Mississippi and Alabama.
Their could be water, gas shortage and power outages.
    and
To help the people that have been effected by this that the games in Alabama should've been called already?
What if theres traffic congestion going to the game and the emergency vehicles need to get by?

I want the game played but aren't helping these people more important? :dis:

I stay on this forum so much, I forgot the post. Name the thread and I'll go look. :) Got to run to the store first.

  7. Hell, that's why we are arguing about the game. I don't think the AU athletic dept is concerned with those peoples' safety. I am still concerned for the people who are either still dealing with the storm(Auburn, AL) and those who will be trying to return home and assess damage and make repairs. To throw traffic from a huge game in the mix is not very smart at this time.

I am ready to play the barners as much as they think they want to play LSU, but in my opinion, this is not a good time.

    Yeah, what about our fans

gas availability ... food ... restaurants ... roads open

There won't be anything open Friday ...

Why should LSU put their people at risk ... for CTT & TTCC

    GET THE **** OUTTA HERE

I was halfway thinking about it as well, because I think it's wrong to flame a Georgia fan who wasn't trying to start anything. I hate to see when our fans throw the first attack.
