:geaux: I would like to state a opinion of mine that I have been keeping inside of myself for sometime.... For all of you people who call yourselves LSU Fans that do nothing but post negativity on this board and do nothing but bash this team and players when they have a bad performance or struggle for 6 minutes in a ball game, I wish you would take all of your "LSU FAN ONLY WHEN THINGS GO WELL ASS" and take it to become a Tulane fan... For all of you who are like myself and have been there for this team and teams of the past, through thick and thin, winning and losing..This is truely a GREAT moment for us.... I remember the game days of sitting in Tiger Stadium filling only 60% during the Curley Hallman era, and through the end of the DiNardo era,,, It made me SICK...!!!!! I really could not believe some of the negative post I have read on this wonderful message board community after a LSU game this season, calling for players heads and bashing coaching decisions... :lsug: I hope those fans don't even get considered for Sugar Bowl tickets and then their TV goes out on them the day of the big game, their electricity goes out in their home so they can't tune in a radio, and their car stalls so they have to walk a long way if they choose to still watch, so they can do more bashing if LSU doesn't win 62-0........ I have been waiting for a team like this all my life.... I can't express the high I'm feeling.... I was at the SEC Championship and the atmosphere was Awesome, and we all had a great time...... What a coach Nick Saban is... What a great group of coaches, what a great group of talented players... Be proud true, real LSU Fighting Tigers Fans..... This is incredible !!!!!! GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!! Dude, part of being a fan is being realistic. Yes, sometimes fans do get out of control and should be ashamed...but just because you have seen everything rosy all season doesn't entitle you to a sugar bowl ticket over me or anyone else.... If we don't question certain calls, call out certain players, and point out all observations...we wouldn't be objective fans...We would be blind...

But saying this... is uncalled for. There isn't a person on this board that posts consistent negativity and is a tiger fan. There are extremists and realists on this board, but nobody ONLY posts negative comments...You should reread some of the posts on this board. We are all tiger fans, just like you...
YEP !!!!!! That's exactly how I feel about certain fans who act the way I'm sick of seeing act that way..... They can go follow another team and bitch about them when they don't score everytime they have the ball or have a bad day, or throw a INT... Hell with them....
Show me a post in the past two week like that. You say: Its called being realistic...When we are up 17-6 and Georgia has the ball, there is something to worry about! Them scoring....But we intercepted the ball and it was a big play. Just because someone posts something like "Uh-huh, this could be bad" isn't being negative..Its being realistic... Like I said, go find someone that is a Tiger fan and that consistently posts negative things about players and our team and I will agree with you. But you won't be able to find it.
I do read a lot of post on this board.... and they are PLENTY of GREAT LSU Fans that post here..... But, I'm talking about the few, that I and many Tiger Fans are sick of....... I said that was my opinion on those kind of fans that I had been keeping inside for a day like this to release....and this is the time..... National Champions BABY!!!!!!!!
I agree with you, there are negative posts...but nothing consistent. Just worriers and people that didn't want to see us blow what we had been building all year...But we will leave it at that...Geaux Tiger!!
LSUterrill..I am not a fan of negative posts and have stated so in the past. But, they are entitled to their opinion and this IS a forum, which means a place for an exchange of ideas and opinions. I'm not sure if you have any specific TF regular in mind here, but I can assure you that the ones who tend to get aggravated and post their feelings are no less of an LSU fan than you or I. In fact, their enthusiasm makes them more of a fan. I don't know what made you suddenly decide to register and go off like that, but you need to chill just a bit. Besides, there are a few here who are not going to discuss the issue with you as diplomatically as DallasLSU.
