As the "official" network of the BCS games, ABC should be consured for continuing to call the Rose Bowl a National Championship game. They are (or should be) fully aware of the agreement that the BCS conferences have that recognizes the winner of the BCS Championship Game as the true national champions. C'mon Michigan - take me out of my misery and put an end to this split champion crap.

Their sister network ESPN is just as bad. Some bimbo on ESPN radio said earlier today that if Michigan wins the Rose Bowl, the winner of the Sugar Bowl would likely be crowned national champion. LIKELY....what are they smoking? After we pound Oklahoma maybe they won't have such a hard time excepting the powerhouse Tigers as the best college team this year.
No, because LSU is playing OU. If you mean "we" as in Michigan, well, it ain't looking good. I haven't been watching too closely, but I take a closer look here in the 4th.
Remember, Dan Fouts went to college at Oregan and played pro ball at San Diego Chargers so he is partisan to the USC and California. Its just too bad that ABC is ruining thier creditbility with announcers that are partisian. That is truely unprofessional
