Have you ever seen some of those videos of those soccer dudes doing a bunch of trick shots? They are incredible. Not quite on this dude's level, but still unreal.
None of that stuff is impressive or needs to be faked. I could make a video of myself blasting 320 yard drives and sinking 30 yard putts. It the number of tries it took the guy to do these things. I dunno if that means I would use the term fake.
Being a kicker isn't all about being able to kick. Its about being able to kick with 80k+ nutballs yelling at you at the top of their lungs and steroid-filled 300 lbs. freaks drooling to bash you into the turf.
