Come on, Mississippi. There's a big world of cuisine out there beyond catfish and chicken fried steak.

India's is very good; it's a very nice restaurant and probably one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Taste of Asia is also excellent. Baton Rouge has some great restaurants. Kamado's for sushi, Hunan's for chinese.

Is India's lunch buffet M-F only or is it 7 days a week?

7 days a week according to the flier I took to Jacksonville with me. I also suggest Atcha Bakery and Serops if you like Lebanese. Then of course the Chimes and Mike Anderson's. Louisianna Lagniappe was pretty good when I went.

Well speaking as an Indian myself..Indias in Baton Rouge has some of the best food there is. And for the person that says you are scared of how the food and people smell. Not all indians smell. FYI..they are called FOB=Fresh of the Boat, meaning most just came to this country recently and still carry some of the indian ways. I have been here 26 yrs and probably just as an american like the next person on here. So just remember..dont judge by the cover of the book.
