1. Ingram was not a "best available" situation. They targeted him and traded up to get him. They blew it.
  2. Hence my quotation marks around the word "best".
  3. At the time, it seemed like a solid move. Hindsight being what it is, I wish we would have traded him instead of Ivory.
  4. The Saints should have traded Ingram to the Jets and kept Chris Ivory. Of course as soon as Ingram is with another team he will start playing like a superstar
  5. That's the way it normally works, it seems. We trade them and they become hall of famers. Bush certainly performed a lot better for Miami then he did for us; especially running the ball. He had a great game in week 1 with Detroit, but as usual, he got hurt last week against the Cardinals.
  6. Our OL does suck....I fear for Brees' life sometimes
  7. Living in NC, I haven't gotten to see much of the games so far, so forgive my lack of insight. Given that the OL sucks, maybe that's the problem and not Ingram? From what I have seen, PT looks good, so that would go against it being an OL prob. Ingram always takes a while to get going, and I am wondering if by the time he is getting going, the OL is actually getting worse late in the game?
