1. Who's watching WVA/Maryland??

That was a horrible call. Then they review it and still make a horrible call. Joint posession goes to the receiver.
  2. Interception. The defender had possession before the receiver. IMO.
  3. Yep, pretty unique play, but the WVU guy had the ball first. Noodle arm QB.
  4. I don't think it matters who had it first, whwn they hit the ground they both had it and the Terp had it more. That is what matters. Even if they say they both had it, the rule says ball goes to the receiver.
  5. Definitely an interception.
  6. The defender clearly catches the ball and the receiver cups his hands around the defender's. As they hit the ground, the defender is then down and the receiver proceeds to pull the ball from the hands of the defender. The ball was dead by then.
  7. wvu guy had possession of the ball when HIS KNEE HIT THE GROUND....turtle guy took it from him as he was rolling
  8. No use arguing anymore, but the receiver had two hands on the ball while they were still in the air and continued to gain better posession as they went to the ground. I'm not saying the DB didn't have posession also, just that the rule is joint posession stays with the offense.
  9. the WR had two hands on the db's hands
  10. You must not have watched the replay too closely. The defender clearly caught the ball and had the possession. The only thing the receiver had possession of was the defenders hands. No joint possession there. Trust me, I wanted it to be Terps ball as much as anyone.
