some interesting facts about this game though are...


LSU has never lost to ULL that makes us 21-0 against them...

1924 was the last time ULL scored Touchdown on LSU and it is the only time they even scored 7 points... they could only post 6 points in one other game and only twice have they scored 3 points... so that mean in 17 games they got blanked

now in there defense about not scoring since 1924... we stopped playing them in 1938 after beating them 10 times in a row...

The closest score during that stretch was 32-0 and the biggest blowout was 93-0.

from 1938 to 2002 we did not play them so...

now onto the bad news for them, in the 21 games we have played against ULL they have scored a grand total of 19 points...

On the other hand we have scored 967 points... so... what does that all mean

1- if we score just 33 points in the game and hold them to 0 - we will have score 1000 points on their team in 22 games.

2- if this happens we should never play them again... I mean what else do we have to prove... and it is not like there is a rivalry there... if we are gonna play a Louisiana team each year just keep tulane on the schedule... and lets relive that rivalry...

one last fact...

Avg score of this series is 46 to 0.904 points per game

that is not even 1 point per game...
