1. Interesting that Lf7 who returned kicks was often a sore spot for many as they didn't think he did a good job.

    LSU was #2 nationally.

  2. Yeah, admittedly, until the return against ND, I didn't think he was that great. Not bad, but not great. I wondered if we would do better w/someone a bit "quicker". He's fast, but he's big, and a bulldozer type. I think of KO return guys as being quicker and more elusive. Guess he does better than I realized.

  3. Just needs to stop looking for contact. I'm glad he finally broke one

  4. i woulda lost money on this. i thought he was average in the return game til ND. Still glad i got to see his game speed finally. or the disclaimer is it bc it was notre dame.

im gonna hope for the former. it was still a couple dbs he outran and i dont think either was white.

  5. He averaged 26.04 yards a return. For reference OBJ had 26.41

He isn't game breaking back there, but I think when he gets loose, people misjudge how fast he is actually running because of his size and movement.

  6. nah i saw him move against nd and he was running at a different speed than, as shane said before, looking to lay out someone.

i wish he would be less earl campbell and more an adrian peterson combo, especially on kickoffs.

  7. This is interesting for sure. I would have figured it to be a lot less, trouble is if you watch the film it could have/should have been a lot better. He took some REALLY bad angles on plenty of returns. Maybe he got tired of getting blown up.

  8. Yea.

I cant say I blame him. He does look to truck people, which I like that he is physical. However, he cannot afford to be that way with our QB's and must look to take everything to the house. :/
  9. He defiantly can improve on his vision.

I think he sees the lanes, just chooses too truck kids.

Take that poor A&M kid for example, he could have easily put a move on him, but just decided to run him over.

  10. He didn't break any long returns until the bowl game, but he was almost automatic to return it to the 35 and maybe a few yards more. I remember him getting dropped short maybe once. There is a lot to be said for consistent good field position.
