Even with 12 minutes to go, you don't know what's going to transpire and whether you need that 1 extra point. Give Iowa the PAT and it's 19-10 and game over. Now it's going to be 18-10 instead. But I even have to admit, with the little scoring going on in this game, Iowa did the right thing in going for 2.
