Is it just me or did anyone else have to walk away from the television after Flynn threw a third interception, or Alabama made a big play, etc.? I felt I would be physically ill if we lost this game and it was really taking a toll on me. Of course I would return to the T.V. to watch, but I could hardly take it. Hats off to the players and coaches who can keep their cool--Miles looks like he doesn't break a sweat, I can hardly bear to watch I want the victory so bad.
Is it just me or does anyone else at least get up and pace?

YES! Major kudos to the coaches and players for staying cool (for the most, notwithstanding the PF's)...

It was such as relief our Tigers (the good guys) won! :thumb:

Yo are not alone! I was at my friends house and they have very low ceiling in the room with the big screen! I got so excited I jumped up and actually skinned the stop on my knuckles! There are two knuckles that are actually cut! See what the gumps do to me!

Also there was ALOT of pacing!

Glad to hear I am not alone. This game would have been the hardest to lose. I could understand losing to Saban a few years down the line, but not in his first year at Alabama! These comeback wins are taking there toll on die hard tiger fans like us. If I had a serious heart condition there would be no way I could watch these games unless I was heavily sedated. I am praying our boys give us a breather and start blowing people away. Jumping up and scraping your knuckles sounds familiar to me and I think I have done that too. I have a ceiling fan now so I am conditioned to stay low. When we played Oklahoma for the title in 2003 I was on the floor in front of the TV screaming and pounding the floor. Maybe it is inherited, when I was younger I can remember my Dad throwing a pen down so hard during a game it bounced from our carpet and stuck in the ceiling. Luckily, no one lost an eye!

I really need professional help. I take all of these games way to seriously. They affect me for the whole week. I felt physically ill. It is because I knew I could not watch ESPN until next year if we lost.

On the Tim Brando show on Sirius today they were heavily complimenting Matt Flynn and our Tigers for the composure our team showed on the road in front of a loud Bama crowd. This team knew they would win the game. They just went out took the game back from Bama.

My stomach was in such a knot that I couldn't even enjoy a beer during the game. Made up for lost time after, responsibly of course !

OMG, I forgot about that! Yes I would have to say that is one of the worse things about losing! Just when you think you may be able to live to watch another game you turn on the TV and hear "LSU's exciting loss to Kentucky in THREE overtimes" BOOM! There I am back on the couch in fetal postion for another 10 hours! I really really hate losing! Oh and then all the damn text message from your stupid gator or BC friends!

Goodness I need to stop or I might end back up on that couch here shortly!

I suffered through each of the last four games. Sports used to be an escape for me. I don't know what happened. Maybe b/c I'm not a kid anymore, and now rely too heavily on them for enjoyment.

Of course, this way makes it even sweeter when LSU takes one to the house on fourth down to tie then forces a fumble inside the 10. I'll gladly take three and a half hours of suffering for those few moments of ecstasy. What a game.

I think losing is harder these days because we only do it once or twice a year. That makes it VERY painful...when you lose a lot, you become numb.
