Funny how that happens when you go from high school to the SEC.

If Crowton is so good why has he never stayed anywhere longer than 4 years previously? He comes in strong and fizzles out. He's on year 4 now here, tied for the longest tenure in his career.

with the weapons that JJ has around him, there is no way that TT has only been open 6 times this year for 47 yds receiving. Something is wrong guys. Something is definitley wrong with this offense!

La Tech to BYU. His alma mater. You don't think that was a step up??? Didn't pan out as a head coach. It happens.

Oregon. Offered job at LSU. We ALL like to think LSU is a top-notch destination. So which is it? LSU > than Oregon or Crowton sucks???

The only jobs Crowton was fired at was as a head coach at BYU and his try as OC with the Chicago Bears.

EVERY move other than those has been an advancement. Next question?

True, and Lee and JJ splitting time could push JJ to become better and the same for lee.

All we can do is hope at this point...

I am not saying Crowton is good, I am still up in the air, but it is not uncommon for good coaches to move on to better pay every few years if they produce good numbers.

Like it or not, Crowton made LSU books by some of his offense here so far.

Not to hijack the thread but I saw someone write "good O-line play". Sorry guys I am not sold on our O-line either. I think our O-line didn't look that great against Vandy. JJ really doesn't have that much time in the pocket and with him it is if my first receiver is covered than run. The closing pocket speeds that up I believe. I think we are an experienced O-line and a good QB away from a damn strong team. They (O-line) is getting better but they have a long way to go.
