I think so, they just put their standards a tad bit high, every season, no matter what happened during the previous one, no matter who's injured/suspended/redshirted/left the team, and no matter whatever else about the team they chose to ignore and downplay.

i can't believe we only have until next saturday. this is awesome, we owe north carolina for a few losses in other sports over the past 4 years or so.

I know. It was creeping by and now it's almost here. I can't wait for this offseason to end. This is going to be a fun season. I feel it deep in my bones.
