the last couple of months before the election and Bush is opening up a two digit lead in the polls ( google gallup poll )

I said it would be a MILD landslide, and it's looking like it might be.

Kerry wont be remembered, he'll slip into obscurity as the DNC will spit him out like they did Gore. The DNC eat their young

I can't wait to see the reaction when kerry gets his azz handed to him LOL

Its too bad the Dems couldn't have picked a better candidate.
I'm not saying that I want a Dem in the white house but what I am saying
is that it was very stupid for them to pick such a piss-pour candidate.

If thats the best they have going for them they might as well pick Hillary or
    throw in the towel.

While I like Giuliani, I think McCain would be a better fit, with Giuliani as the running mate. McCain would be able to win those swing states and get a lot of the independents. That and he seems to be very well-respected up in D.C.

What's even more telling are the state by state polls. He is leading in Pennsylvania and a few other Kerry leaning states, and is almost tied in New Jersey which went for Gore with close to 20%. Plus, Bush has the lead in all of his swing states and I wouldn't be surprised if Ohio went to solid Bush within the next few weeks.

You must be refering to the McCain-Feingold Act. The law is an attempt to silence the NRA and make it illegal to broadcast ads supporting pro gun candidates.

It all depends on which poll you look at. Most of the liberal media that sponsor polls have Kerry a lot closer than the more independent polls. I don't think it will be a landslide but it won't be nearly as close as the 2000 election.

Indeed. But for "independent" read "conservative".
