It's officially Game Day! Let's wake up and start drinking, painting our faces, laundering our official LSU Jerseys and firing up the grill with LSU Band tunes ringing in the background. It's been 8 months and three days since we've last seen the boys in Purple & Gold...it's been a long time coming. :lsup:
Glad to see it arrive! I'm going to San Marcos Tx for lunch with my youngest at Tx. State. Will hit the mall with ms. houtiger, then back home. Game set to record, will miss kickoff, but should see the second half. Pulling for our QB's! Hope everyone does well. Would like to see PP get a return for a TD and get in the Heisman discussion!

I'm glad it's finally here. Unfortunately I have to work, so I have to get ice for the beer later. Otherwise, everything else (beer, meet, charcoal, special sauce, and game shirt and white LSU hat) is ready for action.

I don't think I've been this curious to see how we do in a long time. Will Peterson really be able to close down one half of the field against a top 25 team after the muscle he's put on? How will our young DL do? How about the OL? How many touches will Sheppard get and how good will he look? Will Michael Ford see the field? Hopefully a lot of questions will be answered tonight. I just hope I'm sober enough to find out.
Excellent points mobius481. :thumb: In addition to those I think the big key is how well JJ performs. In my mind, he's the key to our season. If it's more of what we saw last year, then I think we could be in for a long year. If he's matured and progressed in the off season then it could be an exciting season.
