1. My wife woke up early to start the gumbo amd let it simmer ALL DAY!!!!!! I went out last week to get a DVD recorder so the Historic A$$ Whipping we put on the Domers will be in the DVD collection!!

    Now I have to decide what to fix for dinner while watching the game. It was gonna be oyster po-boys, but gumbo sounds awfully good... There will be bread pudding with lemon sauce for dessert.

  8. You bunch of lucky slacker s.o.b.'s. working 4 hours after being off for the past 2 weeks. Its a whole new year and a whole new slate of vacation days.

    I have a store to run...so I am stuck here until 3ish, where I have to go punch some admissions people at College of Charleston in the throat for making me go through so much hell to claim that I have lived in this god-forbiddin state for 3 years. Then it is off to races to see how much I can force down my throat and see how late I actually show up tomorrow at work!

  9. My vacation days don't work like that. In simple terms, I accumulate roughly two vacation days for every month worked. They just pile up over time, don't reset when the calendar year does. :grin:
