They did when I was there (2004.) We noticed all the cups flew down toward the field, so my friends and I started sitting at the top. But then some smart people decided to start tossing the cups BACK. :cuss:

If anyone remembers Saban got on the loud speaker for the 2001 Sugar Bowl vs Illinois because people were throwing stuff on the field. It was right after some team (pro? college?- I forget) threw stuff on the field and the shizz hit the fan. I figured it was the student section throwing cups.

They been showcasing Mike Desemeaux everyday on the local news for about a week now. Its really sad to see how optimistic UL fans are about this year. Glad to see the paper came back to reality.
