1. I wondered if they would give it a new name or not. Pretty interesting stuff.
  2. No its going to stay Ivan......its already named Tropical Depression Ivan
  3. Yes, I can see and read that from the link you provided. :thumb:

Caught a bit of news coverage on it over the past few days, as it crossed over Florida... had been wondering until now if it reformed, would it keep same name. Now I know. :)
  4. That explains the Big FlipFlop.
  5. I'm lost. I thought Ivan went all the way up to New York.
  6. If it was truly reformed it wouldn't still be threatening anybody. :D
  7. it did.....then it turned south and went down the east coast, then turned west and crossed Florida. and now its in the Gulf. Its pretty crazy if you ask me.

Also Hurrican Jeane that had turned out to sea has now turned back and is heading towards the east coast.

  9. Actually you are correct. Part of it went north, while the remainder of it went out to sea of the coast of the Carolinas then down to where it is now.
  10. Although unusual, this has happened before. I think "Betsy" did the same. It may bring some rain to sw Ms, parts of La., but mainly Texas. Nothing bad.
