Sounds like the perfect gameplan against the pigs.

Haven't seem this much positivity on a post about 1 player all year.Guess he dosn't leave anything to gripe about on the field.:thumb:

Especially when he runs up the middle, it looks like there is nothing and next thing you know its an eight yard gain for a first. I've seen him quoted in the paper a couple times and interviewed as well. I don't know him as a person but I bet his teammates love him.

what if he had KW speed? This kid would be unstoppable. Much rather have a player with heart and will, than someone with all the skills in the world and plays like a.....you know what I mean.

Vincent is a fine 3rd-down back. He picks up the blitz dependably and he can slip out for a pass. Hester is the best back to run the draw play, he consistently gets yardage. Williams, Scott, and Broussard are the power backs. Broussard is showing improvement, I hope he finishes the season uninjured. I like Holliday on the quick toss, but I'm afraid he going to get hurt someday. He's so light that when they do get to him they knock him back very hard.

Ya gotta love Hester, our most dependable back all year. Reminds me of Hokie Gajan, and that's pretty good.

I think Jacob has an opportunity to play on Sunday's somewhere.

I absolutely love this comparison to Gajan. Never thought about it, but you're right. He's just a bit smaller than Hokie is all. Same exact tenacity. As a defensive player, you're constantly asking, "did he just knife thru our defense like that?"

He's one of the few players on the team that when he has the ball in his hands, I feel like he's going to make the yardage nec. to move the sticks.

We hardly ever have to hold our breath in fear that Jacob Hester will fumble it away.

He's a great team player and highly underrated, IMO.

Moving the sticks is the reason I posted this thread. Most dependable indeed.

He is very fast and deceptively shifty on the run. His running somehow reminded me of Dominic Davis.
