I think Alabama did their homework and knew how to handle a 4 man rush and zone defense. Pellini needs to open it up a bit and pressure the QB. We keep making Freshmen QBs look good.

It sure seemed like their QB was throwing to some open receivers. I find it hard to understand players on the defense talking trash when the other team gains a first down or after they make one play after a night of not making plays. I think they need to spend more time sticking their man and less time running their mouth. It also seems we were ahead in penalties again and that wasn't close. :po: Well, if we put a complete game together we'll be scary.

well we won but...but...but...oh screw it JR played great and i absolutely love the designed QB traps and draws, genius. hes no pat white but make defenses think twice before dropping into prevent on 3rd and 19.

playcalling had some whacked moments today like the double reverse and flip to JR, wouldve been genius except for the fact that it gave the DLine plenty of time to penetrate. atleast it was on first down so it gave us the chance to gain the yardage back. not sure what was up with the defense, there wasnt much of a pass rush, it wasnt that the receivers were wide open(not too often) but that jpw had a ton of time to throw and was able to deliver it where only his receiver could get it.

oh well, what doesnt kill us makes us stronger. hopefully our guys get healthy for arkansas game and then we have over a month off. geaux tigers

In seven words, you have summed up what took me about 1000 posts to try and say about the proper attitude after a loss or a poor showing. Thanks.:thumb:

How does our star QB still have his name mispelled so frequently?
