I'm sure Lee knows the team needs him healthy. Maybe that is also contributing to the happy feet we are witnessing from him. Self preservation can be a big motivator.

I'm talking about throwqing off his back foot anticipating the hit, not taking a hit when there's no need to.

Were very fast, with excellent skills, and very good depth,.. They are small.

Without Harris, we're a fine defensive secondary, starting a true freshmen.

Cliff Harris, takes us one level higher, and with great depth.

Yep. Harris was a huge loss for the Ducks. The fumbled punt/TD and RR catch in the endzone were on Harris' subs.

Not to be off topic .. er nothin .. but I remember a Cliff Harris that played for the Cowboys years ago .. along with a guy named Charile Waters.

... I know ..just a useless factoid .. by I used to love to watch them play.

Nick Aliotti is the Duck's Defensive Coordinator, he has 20 Years with Oregon,..but, this is his 3rd stint with the Ducks

I'm guessing around 2002, Mike Bellotti, hired Charlie Waters as the Ducks new DC, Everybody loved him and his aggressive style. Then, some major health issue struck his son, and he quit for his son's sake. I don't know how it turned out.

I have a question. In 2008 lee threw the hell out of the ball. He did have the interceptions but he also threw some really great passes. Did his preformance Saturday become so much more conservative because he didn't want to turn the ball over or was the receivers in 2008 better?

We haven't had a receiver as good as Brandon LaFell since he left, so that's probably part of it. He knew how to find the end zone, that's for sure. Lee only had 4 games over 200 yards in 2008, though. LaFell had 100 yard games in 2 of them.
