Dandy had some pretty good info on Green today that I hadn't heard.

DE Jarvis Green just got a surprise $18 million, 5 year contract from the Patriots, heading off unrestricted free agent status at the end of this season. A $3.5 million signing bonus was included. Jarvis has a 3rd child on the way and is pleased with his newfound long-term fimancial security and the knowledge that he fits into plans of the Patriots for years to come. He also continues to work for Rolls-Royce in Massachusetts every off-season to prepare himself for life after football. He has been a big hit in the Boston area as a goodwill ambassador and has been active in community affairs. Kudos to an LSU Tiger for being a true Class Act and for a job well done, on and off the field.

Looks like a bogus report... Seymore signed for 14.8 Million today, so I don't think they are going to give Jarvis 15 Million.

no it was reported on the pats website and many other media outlets. jarvis is truly green.

Hope he can get a few more rings, but I'm rooting harder for my Dallas Tigaz
