Went see it in Lafayette yesterday. Liked.

Went eat at Don's Seafood after. Never again. 19 bucks for a dozen fried shrimps that were the size of popcorn shrimps. No salad.

 

On Johnston? I hate that place

 

I ate at Don's in Lafayette years ago and it was great. The one in Baton Rouge has sucked for years.

Me too, 20 years ago, but that is the 2nd time in the last 10 years...and will be the last.

 

Is this the same dons that makes shitty boudin?

 

Didn't see it on the menu but they do have boudin balls as apetizers. It's a seafood joint, primarily. VERY VERY nice staff.

Saw shane's yellowfin tuna on it. Didn't dare order it. Is it anything like regular tuna in the can?

I told the wife, who ordered stuffed catfish, I had a feeling the yellowfin was as you say. She likes to try different things. I'm pretty much a standpatter and not one to venture off course much.

 

Shane has never pimped yellow fin to you. Amberjack, Ling, either of the reds, specs all great stuff. But YFT is damn good as well
