Got a chance to talk to him Sat. nite about 2 hours after he won the trophy. His quote was that OU would hang 45 on our Defense w/o any problem, and that they would have to shut down their offense. What do my fellow Tiger fans feel about his prediction?

I am the one putting this out, and I promise you it happened. Wish I could verify it better for you, but about 20 people with my group from New Orleans heard the words come out of his mouth.
I ran into Nick Saban a couple of weeks ago while jogging around the Lakes. He told me that OU would be lucky to get a first down on the LSU defense, let alone score any points. That's what I told all the OU people anyway.

Oh man, I didn't mean to start all of that! I mean, listen to Jason White talk. Read his interviews. He's a good, down home kid. If he did say it, especially after a few beers as you suggest, I'm sure he meant it as alittle harmless smack. Similar to what a few fans might do. Of course he is the Heisman Trophy winner and a representative of OU. If he said it, I doubt he said it in a manner where he would expect to see it on an internet message board. Everything I've seen from the guy is class. I've never heard him disrespect an opponent in a public forum.
